Jeon Soo-il’s first comedy, whose 11 previous dark and beautiful feature films were selected at festivals such as Venice, Cannes, Busan… His lead character is an independent film director who makes an unlikely friendship with a bandit working for loan sharks, to whom the director owes lots of cash… That leads our hero to discover dark sides of its city…
Pitch: Busan, South Korea, nowadays. Professor Park is having a hard time managing his life, with his young and emotional cinema students and gangsters demanding the money he borrowed for his movies that nobody watches. When a cinephile yakusa offers him to clean his slate if he films his life, Park thinks he has found a solution… He is very wrong!
